Saturday night Findlay's Finest Gourmet Club went on the road to Perrysburg. We actually started with cocktails in the J&J party bus limo and appetizers at a club member's home in Maumee. Poco Piatti features a blend of Mediterranian foods and one can either purchase an entree or the group can share a variety of small plates - which is what we did. The restaurant's name actually translates to "small plates." We had Sangria... and Sangria... and Sangria... followed by three flights of Padron tequila. And yes - we ate too. Food samplings included: Saganaki Kasari and Shrimp Saganaki (flaming cheese - excellent), Prosciutto crepe, Salsiccia con Fagoli, Sumac Encrusted Tuna, Grilled Baby Lamb Chops, Baklava... and I'm sure more that I can't recall. It was a fun dining experience and the food was excellent. I particularly liked the seared tuna and the lamb chops.
