(419) 878-8490 I would love to try every 'small dish' on P.F. Chang's appetizer menu, but I know I won't. Not that I don't plan to go there in future, its just that I know I will probably never get past the first item - Described on the menu as :
This popular Chinese eatery has an abundance of unique dishes like ( as well as more familiar fare, such as Moo Goo Gai Pan. Their sweet and sour sauce dishes with whole chunks of pineapple and bell peppers will make you swear off the orange sweet and sour goo you get at other Chinese restaurants. Perhaps one source of the restaurant's popularity stems from the fact that each table gets a variety of sauces and condiments with instructions on which ones to mix together to make dishes hotter or milder. It's like having your own chemistry set - you are inspired to experiement! If you like your food spicy (I do) then you can go as hot as you like - you are only limited by your imagination (and tolerance). Don't worry - if you get your dish too spicy you can always temper it with another sauce. The dessert menu includes something I really appreciated: Dessert Shots - a selection of shotglasses filled with scrumpteous confections, just the right amount after a huge meal (for only $2). The service was very good during my visit, and the atmosphere is very cool. According to Wikipedia, The company has received several architectural awards for restaurant designs. P. F. Chang's China Bistro, Inc. (NASDAQ: PFCB) is an American restaurant chain founded in Scottsdale, Arizona in 1993 by Paul Fleming. The restaurants serve American Chinese cuisine from a menu originally conceived and planned by chef Philip Chiang. "P. F. Chang's" is the namesake of Paul Fleming (P. F.) and Philip Chiang (whose surname is simplified to Chang.) One word of warning - make reservations well in advance, especially on weekends. This is one of Toledo's more popular eateries and a wait of several hours is not uncommon. |
