Curtis, also known as ‘SINcerely red’, is a solo acoustic artist from Dearborn, Michigan. Curtis sings, plays guitar, drums, piano and writes his own songs.
Curtis came by his musical talent naturally - his parents tour as 'Not Our Own', a Christian music duo.
The past few months SINcerely red has been taking the next steps to becoming a more polished artist. Hitting the pavement hard, he has been spending countless hours in the studio, performing live, and promoting his upcoming album entitled “Nothing Left”. The album is scheduled for release in early 2009.
With “Nothing Left” on the horizon, red is looking to reach more fans and friends. His message is uplifting and refreshing.
Curtis is working with No X-It enteRtainment. Matthew Trevarthen, manager of the company, has been working to fill up his schedule with shows in and out of state. He has played venues such as the Blind Pig in Ann Arbor and the Hard Rock Café in Detroit. Red is planning to schedule appearances in the Black Swamp (Northwest) area of Ohio in 2009.
SINcerely red was chosen as featured artist of the month from BSconnection.com's Band Profiles. More information, photos and comments from his fans can be found on his profile.
We are featuring red's, "A Lonely Song". You can hear more SINcerely red songs from "Nothing Left" on Black Swamp Radio.
